With Michael Wunderman having secceeded his late father as head of CORUM, the watchmaker has embarked on a new strategy in terms of conception and choice of movements. This is resulting in development specific to each of the four pillars of the brand's product range: Admiral's Cup, ROMVLVS, Golden Bridge and Watchmaking Specialties.
Admiral's Cup is the contemporary sporting expression of the brand, immediately identifiable by its 12-sided bezel and its flange bearing the 12 nautical pennants in place of hour markers. ROMVLVS is an interpretation of the classic canons of fine watch-making, identifiable by the Roman numerals engraved on the bezel. Golden Bridge is an interpretation of Haute Horlogerie with an exclusive linear movement that features exceptional properties. Watchmaking Specialties is an interpretation of artistic craftmanship giving free rein to the brand's creativity.
As one of the four pillars of the CORUM collection, ROMVLVS was the first watch to dare to display the hour numerals on the bezel instead of the dial. ROMVLVS Chronograph is a new development in the line, adding a complication that provides traditional functions and features to enhance its classic stylized and elegant design. It is also a first in the current collection, since it is the initial chronograph in this line by CORUM.
