Blog Planning: A Thin Line Between Professional and Amateur

So far, (correct me if I'm wrong) what I have been reading on most of Indonesians' blogs are monetizing, tweaking blog template/design, search engine optimization (SEO) tricks, blog tutorial, blog tips, traffic tips, networking, etc. Monetizing seems to be the most prevalent of all, as far as I'm concerned. Very few of them, however, discuss the importance of planning theirblogs, targets, or aims to achieve for the upcoming year, 2010. Even on some mega-blogs hosted by several Indonesian more experienced bloggers do not include blog planning as one of their hottest topics..

Contrary to what most of Indonesian bloggers do in the last week of 2009, foreign bloggers (particularly the pros) are competing with each other producing some posts which are related to evaluation and planning. Some of them are recapping (summarizing) their 2009 posts which are considered the best. By 'the best', they mean those posts are reckoned to be very useful for readers' needs and relevant to overcome readers' problems. Some others are talking about challenges that they have to conquer in 2010. And I once read that Darren 'the legendary problogger' Rowse even set an income target for himself, specifying how many dollars he had to make in one hour, one day, one week, one month, and finally one year. I have to tell you that the calculations Rowse did were extremely meticulous because he included the targets, too. He elaborated how many advertisements he had to publish on his blogs to fulfill the target perfectly, how many paid reviews he had to do throughout the year to earn more money to reach the target.

So people, why is planning equally important for our blog's development? Why must we bother ourselves, planning all things in advance while we can enjoy the end-of-the year holiday season? I'm not going to say that planning our blogging activities is compulsory for all bloggers, or to say that ignoring this is bad. However, if you and I want to get an access to enter the prestigious and elite professional bloggers circle, bloggers who now seem to make money quite effortlessly (while other less fortunate bloggers are still working rough day and night to make one single dollar) and gain fame anywhere, we must include planning into part of our routines. Manage our blog professionally like Bill Gates does to his Microsoft Corporation and we'll someday realize that our blog can be the money tree we've always dreamed of.

Here are some things we can do to plan ur blogging journey in 2010:
> get a calendar
> find the local, national and international holidays that most people celebrate (e.g. Aidil Fitri, Christmas, national bloggers day) and events that happen regularly (e.g. holiday season, preparing for flood prevention in rainy season)
> decide which of the holidays are suitable for your blog's post theme
> mark the date when you have to post something on your blog long before the holidays arrive (e.g. to post articles on Christmas celebration tips/ how to choose best Xmas gifts, you mark Dec 10 or 18 as the day you post the tips on your blog. Posting the articles on Dec 25 is useless for your blog's readers.) reference:freelancewritinggigs.com

Of course, we don't have to publish all our posts earlier. In some cases when preparation is not badly needed, we may publish our writing one day before or exactly on the D-day. This is not a rigid rule so we can make some necessary adjustments anytime we want to.

In a nutshell, preparation is the main point of becoming a professional blogger. And this is a worth remembering saying that all prospective professional bloggers like us must bear in mind always: "PEOPLE WHO NEVER PLAN PLAN TO FAIL".

That being said, we can now ask ourselves, "Are we ready to plan our success in 2010 now?""

Indonesia HIV Prevention Programs

Currently it's time for efforts to improve HIV prevention programs are comprehensive AIDS that could affect actual and optimal in the HIV-AIDS in Indonesia, including the involvement of the role of health professional organizations, such as IDI (Ikatan Dokter Indonesia) in the response to HIV / AIDS in national.

In addition to the acceleration of the HIV epidemic, Indonesia is also facing the problem of the epidemic use of drugs (drugs and addictive substances), which is still a major contribution to HIV transmission, besides an increase in transmission of blood-borne viruses, such as the transmission of viral hepatitis B and C, and HIV.

Expansion of transmission increasingly complex because of sexual transmission can not be stopped, due to low condom use in risky sex.

The impact of HIV-AIDS epidemic is not easily addressed, the problem of co-infection in people infected with HIV. HIV problems with HCV, HBV, TB and other infectious diseases to encourage more comprehensive handling. Coinfection not only can aggravate the health status of people with HIV, HIV itself also accelerate the adverse circumstances other infections.

In general, the health professional workers in Indonesia was not ready to deal with the problem of the HIV epidemic coinfection, so needed advocacy for medical curriculum development and continuing medical training (Continuing Professional Development) that can increase competence in Indonesia doctors identify and treat HIV with another pathogen.
